About KBLI TV & Radio.
We are one of the largest production studios on the West Coast and provide more content to major media providers than anyone else, such as NPBS, Timelife Warner, Comcast, and many of the Independents. The reason know one knows us is confidentiality. Most of our clients do not want anyone to know who they used or what they did and we respect that more than most. In a world we everyone wants to be notices, the lack of it, is our success.
KBLI is part of the University of La Jolla. It receives major funding from Deep Sea System, Commercial Marine Services, the Durham Foundation, the Scripps Foundation, and other non profit organizations.
It is the mandate of the University, that KBLI provide high quality public access studio facilities to the general public, and to Colleges and Universities located in Southern California. We record, tape and produce various programs which are syndicated nationally over the various cable outlets. We allow access to all local PBS Stations, both television and radio, to all our facilities as necessity dictates. We have both television and radio broadcast capabilities and staff to assist those needing our services. Additionally, we provide production facilities to many major Studios and Motion Pictures found in Southern California.
Because of our high level of security, many commercials and music videos featuring prominent politicians, celebrities, and others needing privacy, avail themselves of our services. All employee's have had DOJ background checks, all posses a level C3b clearance.
Visitors are welcome, however because certain Government agencies uses our facilities, security procedures are necessary. We do require a copy of an legitimate photo ID, Social Security number in advance, and a hand scan upon arrival.
Our huge demographic base covers entire USA, and many foreign countries too.
